What You’ll Do

• Champion Quality from the Ground Up: Lead the design, implementation, and execution of test strategies and frameworks that enhance reliability across our platform, while documenting best practices and processes for team-wide adoption.

• Automate Everything: Build and scale robust automated testing pipelines using modern tools like Playwright, and maintain clear, up-to-date documentation to support ease of use and onboarding.

• Partner for Success: Work hand-in-hand with developers, product managers, and the QA lead to ensure features are tested early, often, and effectively.

• Optimize Our Tooling: Take ownership of our QA efficiency tools and test infrastructure, continuously evolving them to meet our growing needs.

• Explore the Frontier: Research and experiment with emerging AI-powered testing approaches and incorporate best-in-class solutions into our QA workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of QA Engineering Experience: Proven background in both automated and manual testing. Skilled in writing and maintaining automated test suites using tools like Playwright, with strong coding abilities in JavaScript and TypeScript. Extensive experience applying a wide range of manual testing techniques tailored to different project needs, ensuring thorough and fit-for-purpose test coverage across various scenarios.

• Collaborative Communicator: You work well with cross-functional teams, translating product requirements into testable items and clear technical documentation to guide development and ensure alignment.

• Cloud-Savvy: Solid understanding of AWS services such as S3 and EC2, with experience managing cloud-based test environments.

• Full-Stack Test Insight: Understanding of designing and implementing unit tests for modern frontend and backend stacks—specifically React, Python, and Go.

• Test Management: Ability to maintain and contribute toward test plans, write detailed test cases, and align existing test strategy with product goals and SDLC phases.

• ISTQB Certified (Preferred): Foundation-level or higher certification is a strong plus.
