As a Senior Sales professional, you will lead new client acquisition and strategic expansion, ensuring our institutional clients realise measurable value from Propellant’s fixed income analytics — from first conversation and evaluation through to commercial close and ongoing growth.
We are seeking a Senior Sales hire to join Propellant Digital in our Sales team. Our client base includes top‑tier investment banks, asset managers, proprietary trading firms, regulators, trading venues, and research firms. With nearly 40 clients already onboard, we are accelerating our growth and deepening our footprint across global capital markets.
This is a hands‑on role with substantial visibility and impact, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, client‑driven fintech environment. The role offers a high degree of independence and ownership, requiring you to act with accountability, urgency, and commercial discipline.
What you’ll help clients achieve

Turn fragmented fixed-income data into actionable insight for pricing, liquidity discovery, and execution quality.

Run structured evaluations/PoCs with clear success criteria and time-to-value, then transition smoothly to onboarding.

Build business cases that resonate with front-office and data leaders.
About the role
- New Client Acquisition & Growth
-
Own the end‑to‑end sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, business case, trials/PoCs, pricing, negotiation, and close.

Build and manage a named account list of buy‑side and sell‑side targets; engage multiple stakeholders (front office, data, tech, procurement).

Partner with Product and Solutions to shape compelling value propositions and quantified ROI cases.

Leverage your network across asset managers, banks, and venues to accelerate pipeline and shorten cycles.

Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in HubSpot (or equivalent).
- Account Expansion

Collaborate with Customer Success to identify expansion and cross‑sell opportunities; progress trials into multi‑desk or multi‑region rollouts.

Develop executive sponsorship; drive referenceability and client stories.
- Market Insight & Enablement

Track competitive intelligence and market trends; translate client needs into clear product feedback.

Contribute to scalable playbooks: messaging, objection handling, pricing frameworks, discovery templates, ROI models, and case studies.

Clear attribution rules (opportunity owner at signature; dual credit by pre‑approval).

90‑day milestone review to confirm territory, pipeline quality, and plan calibration.

Daily start-of-day sales stand-up for alignment, unblocking, and support.
About you
- Experience
-
5+ years in B2B sales/business development within capital markets / fintech / market data.

Strong understanding of fixed income front‑office workflows and analytics buyer personas.

Proven track record of closing new logos and orchestrating multi‑stakeholder deals.

Existing network across buy‑side and sell‑side decision makers.

Experience selling data analytics / market data / SaaS to financial institutions.
- Skills & Attributes

Exceptional communication and executive presence; confident in value‑based selling and ROI storytelling.

Commercial rigour: territory planning, pipeline generation, MEDDICC/BANT‑style qualification.

Analytical and structured; comfortable with proposals, pricing, and negotiation.

Strong technical aptitude; able to learn complex platforms quickly and translate them into business outcomes.

Excellent CRM discipline (HubSpot) for accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene.

Fluent in English; additional European languages (e.g., French) a plus.
