What You’ll Do

• Lead by Example: Be a hands-on technical leader, contributing clean, performant code and architectural insights to our Python-based data and backend systems.

• Build Smart Data Systems: Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines, event-driven architectures, and high-throughput systems using technologies like ClickHouse, Postgres, and Kafka (or equivalents).

• Enable AI-Powered Products: Develop and maintain data flows and backend services that power AI agents and analytics features — from feature stores to agent feedback loops.

• Expand and Mentor: Help grow a team of backend and data engineers. Review code, set engineering standards, and encourage continuous learning and technical excellence.

• Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Product, UX, frontend, and QA teams to deliver intelligent, data-driven features with a focus on security, scalability, and user experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Backend & Data Engineering Expertise: 4+ years of experience building data-heavy applications using Python (or Go), with strong knowledge of databases, ETL/ELT workflows, and event processing systems.

• AI & Analytics Awareness: Experience integrating with AI/ML models or agents, and a passion for building data platforms that enable intelligent decision-making and insights.

• Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated ability to mentor team members, make architectural decisions, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.

• Cloud & DevOps Know-How: Proficiency with AWS (or similar), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) to support scalable deployments.

• Product Collaboration: Comfortable working alongside product teams to shape roadmaps, align on priorities, and deliver features iteratively.
